Three win Miss Wisconsin second round

The second round of preliminary winners for Miss Wisconsin 2008 were announced Friday night.

The second preliminary lifestyle and fitness winner was Miss South Central Briana Lipor. Lipor’s platform is “Save the Arts.”

The second preliminary talent competition winners were Miss Kenosha Caitlin Smulski and Miss Fox River Valley Shinae Kulhanek.

Smulski sang the opera “O Mio Babbino Caro” and Kulhanek danced ballet en pointe to “Spanish” from "The Nutcracker.”

Smulski’s platform is “music in our schools.” Kulhanek’s platform is blood donation.

The final round is on Saturday night at Oshkosh West High School. The 26 contestants will be narrowed down to the ten semi-finalists. One will become Miss Wisconsin 2008.
